Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are medications that reduce the body's production of a chemical called cyclo-oxygenase (COX). This reduces the amount of pain and inflammation that can be caused by arthritis and other inflammatory conditions.
Apply Voltaren Emulgel to the affected area once daily. Do not apply more often or take longer than recommended.

Voltaren Emulgel should not be used to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis (a chronic inflammation of the spine).
